The moment we’ve all been waiting for us upon us, the grand opening of the new Glasshouse Playing Fields under Bear Flat Cricket Club!
A new era is here, but we must first give credit where it’s due. The team at the Bath Recreation Trust have transformed the venue over the past three years. Evidenced in the fact that for the 2020 Pod Season, our competitors ranked the playing surface as “Best Pitch”, quite some achievement considering the teams in our pod. All of Bear Flat CC would like to extend our thanks and congratulations to the team.
The Saturday XI are the lucky ones with the privilege of the first outing, fittingly hosting one of our favourite opponents, Hinton Charterhouse CC. The fixture always promises to be competitive and friendly, a scarce combination that always seems to result in a great game of cricket.
The start time is 13:30 at Glasshouse Playing Fields, Bath, BA2 5BX.
