Cricket is Back!

The 2021 Season is nearly upon us! With the first friendly of the Season this Saturday, 10 April away to Hampset, things are set fair for the season. With a new clubhouse, two new captains bursting with enthusiasm to try out their skills, this season is likely to be many things, but dull isn’t one of them!

Unfortunately spectators are unable to attend matches at present, but with Boris’ road map firmly on the right course, we are sure The Bears’ faithful fans will be back at The Glasshouse cheering us on to victory once more. Come On You Bears #COYB.

The Glasshouse

The Glasshouse just has a couple of rules with which BFCC must comply to ensure our continued use of the ground.

  1. There is permit only parking permitted within the site, so both teams and supporters will continue to park on Bradford Road as before.
  2. There is no alcohol permitted to be consumed at the ground.
  3. Exercising of dogs is not permitted.
  4. No wearing of studs inside the clubhouse – they are permitted in the changing rooms and toilet areas only.

Thank you for your co-operation!

This will be an exciting season, with the Saturday XI playing in Division 1 of the Wiltshire League, a bevvy of great grounds for our Sunday XI Development side to play their friendlies, and entries into both the Somerset Cup and the Wiltshire Wallop. Bring it on!
