The latest All Stars cricket season has drawn to a successful close, with young players aged five to eight completing an eight-week training programme at the Glasshouse.

With no “rain stopped play” this year, the children enjoyed glorious Friday evenings at the Glasshouse, in an atmosphere of family fun, with parents watching and treating themselves and their children to a family tea at the burger stand. 

Friday nights continue with training for the Womens cricket team, and the Bear Cubs, aimed at the over 9’s, training in their under 11 and under 13 squads for forthcoming matches.  Itching to get into the squads are the Bear Cubs development team, coached by Andy Ebdon, the club president.
