This week the Saturday side welcome Beckington to the Glasshouse which (weather permitting!) will be the first home league game of 2021 after the previous wash out!
This was one of the few fixtures the Bears were able to play last year, Beckington running out winners in a high scoring match despite the heroic efforts of Ross Newman who bowled his 9 overs in a row to close out the Beckington innings, then came into bat at number 3 in the first over of the Bears reply going onto score and unbeaten century!
This week also marks the official return of spectators to amateur sport as the next step of the road map is followed! Although with the number of U turns and changes over the past year we shall wait and see on that!
The start time is 13:00 at the Glasshouse.
