This week the Saturday travel to Hinton Charterhouse in the last Saturday league match of the 2021 season.
As well as the usual local rivalry this game also takes on added significance as a win for Hinton would see them crowned division 1 champions and a win for the Bears would mean they avoid relegation from division 1.
The meeting between the two sides earlier in the season was a game to forget for the Bears with a covid case meaning a very late withdrawal and then injuries to both opening bowlers in the first 5 overs of the match meant Hinton piled on the runs. There was one shining light for the Bears though as Wilson carried hit bat for a magnificent 105 not out in what was ultimately a losing cause.
The start time is 13:00 at Hinton.
