Sunday 25th April | Keynsham CC- Sunday 2nd XI v Bear Flat CC – Sunday XI

Bear Flat Cricket Club played their hand early on this one. Withdrawing from the North Somerset League and sending fixture secretary Fi Isaacs out into the world with a single message ringing in her ears – “We want competitive, development fixtures, where every member of our club can play a part”. It turns out we weren’t alone.

Thanks to Fi and our fellow clubs, the Sunday XI boast a complete fixture list this year, the first of which takes place away to Keynsham Cricket Club 2nd XI.

The stalwarts of the Sunday XI make up the team’s core, but with plenty of fresh faces, it’s an exciting time for Bear Flat CC. With the weather set fair (considering it’s still April), Sunday promises to be everything we’ve been dreaming of over those long winter months.
