This week the Saturday side travel to Purton Cricket club looking to back up the solid performance from last week.

The early season encounter was the first in the Wiltshire League between the two sides but was one to forget for the Bears. An abject batting performance saw the Bears bowled out for 139 in 45 overs. This total would have been considerably lower if not for a fantastic last wicket partnership of 61 between Harris and Malhotra, the former being run out for 49 off the last ball of the innings.
